For a change, here is a film featuring twins in lead roles. Ramakrishna and Harikrishna headline 'Thika Maka Thanda', a period village drama helmed by Venkat. Child artist Annie of 'Anukokunda Oka Roju', 'Rajanna' and 'Stalin' fame is the debutante heroine.
Producer Tirupathi Srinivasa Rao, who is yet to announce the film's release date, described the movie as a clean family drama sans vulgarity. Director Venkat, who shot the film in a village in Warangal, revealed that the film is about a long-standing social problem because of which the village is suffering from amnesia.
Co-starring Rekha Nirosha, 'Amrutham' fame Shivannarayana, Bobby Bedi, Yadamma Raju (recently seen in 'Slum Dog Husband'), Bullet Bhasker, Rocket Raghava, and others, the film's story is by BN Niroop Kumar, while the dialogues are by writer Venkat himself. Hari Krishnan (cinematography), Suresh Bobbili (music direction), Kumar Nirmala Srujan (editing), and Srinivas (art direction) have worked on the movie.
A song titled 'Ohho Puththadi Bommaa' from the movie has amassed more than one million views. Sid Sriram crooned the melody.
