It is known that Nikhil Siddhartha is doing a pan-India period action drama film titled 'Swayambhu' (directed by Bharat Krishnamachari). The film will be launched later this week by presenter Tagore Madhu
The news is that Samyuktha of the recent 'Virupaksha' fame is going to be its heroine. The actress, also known for 'Bimbisara', 'SIR' and 'Bheemla Nayak', is excited about the offer.
She will soon be seen in 'Devil: A Secret British Agent', starring Nandamuri Kalyanram in the lead. The period film will have her in the role of a traditional Telugu girl.
In a recent interview, the Malayalam girl said that she can't switch to modern characters all of a sudden. "I have to do it gradually," she added. 'Swayambhu', to be released in theatres in 2024, is going to feature her in a challenging role.
For 'Virupaksha', Samyuktha travelled across the interiors of Andhra to know about the people and their lifestyles. The actress has also been working on Telugu.
