Recently, Rana Daggubati hit out at the alleged unprofessional behaviour of an unnamed Bollywood actress on the sets of a film led by Dulquer Salmaan. The 'Baahubali' actor made those comments while praising the patience of the 'Sita Ramam' star. But the speech has backfired badly, with many Netiens tagging Hindi film actress Sonam Kapoor and saying that Rana's speech was directed at her.
Following the controversy, Sonam indirectly took a dig at Rana without naming him. She wrote this quotable quote on Instagram. "Small minds discuss people, average minds discuss events, great minds discuss ideas." She further added, "Just a little something I would like some people to know, especially when discussing things about people that are made up."
Netizens are speculating that Sonam and Rana have had a fallout after the incident. But before her cryptic post came about, Rana apologized to Sonam on Twitter. "I am genuinely troubled by the negativity that has been aimed at Sonam due to my comments, that are totally untrue and were meant entirely in a light-hearted manner. As friends, we often exchange playful banter, and I deeply regret that my words have been misinterpreted," he wrote.
