Mollywood star hero Mammootty is known for picking novel stories. Today, a new movie of the iconic actor was launched by producer Chakravarthy Ramachandra of Night Shift Studios. In the announcement poster released today, we see the phrase 'The Age Of Madness' written under the title. A haunted bungalow and a man bearing a fire torch are seen. The pan-India film will be released next year in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
To be set in a bygone era in Kerala, the dark thriller is coming from writer-director Rahul Sadasivan. He is glad to have teamed up with not only the Malayalam cinema's stalwart but also producer Ramachandra, who is eager to make genre content and not regular movies.
Also produced by S Sashikanth of YNOT Studios, the film is promised to be visually and aesthetically spectacular. The creators want to offer a never-seen-before experience to the audience.
To be shot in Kochi and Ottapalam, the film will have music by Christo Xavier. The production design is by Jothish Shankar.
Night Shift Studios has kept the premise of the film under wraps. The banner has been brought into existence by the coming together of the Ramachandra-Sashikanth duo, both of whom are determined to score a pan-India hit.
