'Tillu Square' serves as a sequel to 'DJ Tillu,' and it is scheduled for a theatrical release in February 2024. Contrary to expectations, it is not the conclusive installment of a two-part series.
During a casual conversation with Nithiin, Siddhu Jonnalagadda hinted at keeping the franchise alive for years. Despite the first two parts being consecutive movies in Siddhu's career, the third installment won't be his immediate next project. Instead, he plans to undertake one or two other projects before taking up the third edition.
However, the determination to sustain the franchise hinges on the success of 'Tillu Square'. In order for franchises to thrive, each installment must bring something new and enticing. The humor in 'Tillu Square' needs to be innovative and refreshing. If it seems like Siddhu is merely replicating the same dialogue delivery and brand of humor from 'DJ Tillu', the excitement factor is likely to diminish.
'Tillu Square' is directed by Mallik Ram. Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Fortune Four Cinemas are going for a major theatrical release. Anupama Parameswaran is its heroine.
