'Tillu Square', the sequel to 'DJ Tillu', was supposed to hit the cinemas in August. It was later postponed to November this year. Today, the final release date was announced by producer S Naga Vamsi. And the date is a bit shocking because the comedy caper won't be heading to the theatres this year! Yes, the film has been pushed to 2024. The date is February 9.
"His-Story will repeat once again in theatres with 'Tillu Square'! Tillu anna MASS is all set to blast the theatres with DOUBLE the FUN & DOUBLE ENTERTAINMENT from FEB 9th, 2024! (sic)," Sithara Entertainments said today, making the release date announcement.
The film's shoot was finished months ago. The delay in theatrical release is purely meant to ensure that the film gets a solo release. The sequel is coming out nearly two years after 'DJ Tillu' was released.
Directed by Mallik Ram, the Siddhu Jonnalagadda-starrer film has music by Ram Miryala and cinematography by Sai Prakash Ummadisingu. Anupama Parameswaran is its heroine.
