Prakash Raj, seen in films like 'KGF 2' in recent years, has been an open sympathizer of the BRS. In the run-up to the recent Assembly elections, he supported the BRS government. He is also close to KT Rama Rao and is believed to have suggested to him some political talking points against the BJP.
In November, the Enforcement Directorate issued a summons to Prakash Raj in connection with an alleged money laundering case. The case is linked to a Ponzi scheme.
Prakash Raj will next be seen in Mahesh Babu's 'Guntur Kaaram' in an important role. The film hits the cinemas on January 12, 2024.
