Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade, who is known for films such as 'Golmaal Returns', reportedly suffered a heart attack last night. Mumbai-based media reports say that he returned from a film shoot and collapsed at home.
The actor, who is 47, was rushed to the Belle Vue Hospital in Andheri West. After conducting emergency tests, the team of doctors performed an angioplasty. "He was active on the sets of 'Welcome to the Jungle'. Within minutes, we received the news about his condition and were shocked," a unit member said.
It was with Nagesh Kukunoor's 'Iqbal' that Talpade shot to fame in the mid-2000s. He went on to be seen in SRK's 'Om Shanti Om' and the comedy entertainer 'Housefull 2', among others.
Talpade famously dubbed for Allu Arjun in the Hindi version of 'Pushpa: The Rise'. He will be doing it for 'Pushpa 2' as well.
