Niharika Konidela recently said that she had given the nod to an acting assignment. After doing 'Oka Manasu', 'Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren' (Tamil), 'Happy Wedding', and 'Suryakantham', the young actress has teamed up with a new team with little to no experience. The film is titled 'What The Fish'.
Helmed by Varun Korukonda, the entertainer is produced by Vishal Bezawada and Surya Bezawada on 6ix Cinemas and Afilmbyv. Shakthikanth Karthick is its music director. Niharika will be seen as a fashionable woman named Astalaskhmi aka ASH in the 2024 release.
On the face of it, Niharika's choice doesn't look inspired. Probably, she has been looking for lead roles. Actually, she would do well to do new-age films/entertainers that feature multiple actors in equally important roles. Think of films like 'MAD' where three female leads didn't vie for attention but were given their space.
On Pink Elephant Pictures, Niharika will be producing a feature film featuring eleven newcomers. "I am taking baby steps as a producer. I have no plans, as of now, to produce big-scale movies with stars in my family," she recently said. 'Dead Pixels', 'Hello World', and 'Oka Chinna Family Story' are her recent web series as a producer.
