'Butta Bomma' was released in theatres today (February 4). Hours after the theatrical release, the team of the film, including director Shourie Chandrasekhar Ramesh, met the press to talk about the audience's reception.
"We are happy that our film is getting positive response from all quarters. Our cute romantic thriller has been feted with positive reviews," the makers said. They hoped that the film's central message will go a long way in shaping opinions.
Debutante Anika Surendran said that she is grateful for having done the project. Sathya, her character in the movie, is the anchor on which the story rests.
Newcomer Surya Vashistta, who played an auto driver in the remake, said that he watched the movie at a multiplex and could feel the audience's satisfaction.
'Master' actor Arjun Das, who played a crucial role in the film's second half, thanked the Telugu audience. He is looking forward to a happening filmography in Telugu cinema. He is also learning the language.
The director of the movie said that 'Butta Bomma' has got a lot of buzz even in the Overseas market. "I feel every father must take their daughters to this movie. So, they can explain certain things to them," he added.
Dialogue and screenplay writer Ganesh Ravuri said, "People are liking the twists and turns in the story."
