'Konaseema Thugs' is an upcoming action drama produced by Riya Shibu. The news is that Mythri Movie Distributors LLP, which recently debuted this Sankranthi in a grand way, is going to release the Telugu version of the multi-lingual release in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film hits the cinemas on February 24.
Producers Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni have already successfully distributed their own movies, 'Waltair Veerayya' and 'Veera Simha Reddy', in Nizam. 'Konaseema Thugs' is their first non-Tollywood, multi-lingual release in the Telugu States as distributors. They are mighty impressed with the film's teaser and genre (intense action thriller).
In the past, non-Tollywood films like 'KGF', 'Kantara', and 'Vikrant Rona' were encouraged in a similar way by the Telugu audience. 'Konaseema Thugs' is also expected to similar reception.
Starring Hridhu Haroon and Bobby Simha, the film's pre-release event is going to be held in Hyderabad on February 19.
RK Suresh and Munishkanth will be seen alongside Anaswara Rajan. Directed by choreographer Brinda Gopal, the film's music is by Sam CS.
