Multi-lingual actress of Kasthuri Shankar 'Bharateeyudu' and 'Annamayya' fame (seen in Telugu movies like 'Samanthakamani' and 'GodFather') has revealed that she has got adult chicken pox. The actress, who has been married to a doctor since 2010, has been getting treatment for the same.
"Say hello to my little friends! #pockmarks. Adult Chickenpox is a bitch. Life-threatening at most and certainly disfiguring at best. I am lucky that my eyes were spared. Thanks to those who stood by me. Forever grateful. I hope my instafam will continue to love and support. After a lifetime of spotless smooth skin, now I have to get used to the new normal. Sighhh," the actress wrote.
Kasthuri, who makes strong opinionated arguments on social media about socio-political issues, famously got photographed topless and half-nude in 2014 for the book 'The Bodies of Mothers: A Beautiful Body Project'.
