Senior journalist and author Bhagiratha has been awarded with the NTR International Excellence Award at the hands of Chief Election Commissioner of Telangana State, C Partha Sarathy. As part of Kala Patrika's 10th anniversary celebrations at the Grand Excelsior Hotel in Dubai, the centenary celebrations of thespian NT Rama Rao and legendary Ghantasala were held as a tribute.
Government of India's Department of Culture and Kala Patrika unveiled Bhagiratha's book titled 'Mahanatudu, PrajaNayakudu NTR'.
The first copy was presented to Padma Bhushan recipient Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad and the second copy to 'Nata Kireeti' Rajendra Prasad.
Bhagiratha said that NT Rama Rao's daughters Lokeswari and Purandeswari launched the first edition of his book recently.
