Last year, Geetha Distribution Company supported 'Kantara' and a few other movies in Telugu. 'Bhediya' was released as 'Thodelu'. Last week, Geetha Arts announced that it would be releasing Suhas-starrer 'Writer Padmabhushan' on February 3.
There is another small movie coming up from Geetha Arts very soon. On January 20, the Malayalam movie 'Malikappuram' will be released in Telugu. This one stars 'Yashoda' fame Unni Mukundan in the lead role.
The original was released in Kerala on December 30. Box office reports say that the semi-devotional and action drama movie has been going great guns.
Allu Aravind's company wants to score a sleeper hit with 'Malikappuram, which is about a pre-teen girl's desire to go on a pilgrimage to Sabarimala. Surely, Lord Ayyappa's devotees will love to watch it!
