Director Dasarath of Nagarjuna's 'Santosham' fame has penned a book titled 'Katha Rachana'. On Monday, the book was unveiled at an event graced by Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao as the chief guest.
Sharing a pic from the event, KTR wrote, "All of us seek stories in whatever form, for they give us joy. Here’s a book Katha Rachana on the art of story writing by the renowned filmmaker. Recommend it to creative minds & movie buffs."
The book is presented by the Department of Language and Culture, Government of Telangana.
The event was attended by 'Mahanati' and 'Project K' director Nag Ashwin as one of the guests. He said that the book will be useful for many who want to learn to screenwrite. "There are many who don't get the opportunity to attend a film school. For them, 'Katha Rachana' will be useful. The writer has mentioned several useful lessons in it," he added.
Harish Shankar said that it's not easy to write such a book. VV Vinayak said that Dasarath is a technician with a lot of focus.
The author of the book thanked KTR for doing the honours. 'Katha Rachana' comes with a foreword written by director Sukumar.
