Ali is ready to electorally challenge none other than Pawan Kalyan in the coming Assembly elections. Nearly 15 months ahead of the Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, Ali today said that he will contest on a YCP ticket against Pawan Kalyan.
But there is a condition. The order must come straight from Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
Ali's comments are sure to provoke Power Star's fans. They are likely to accuse him of not being loyal to his long-time friend. But as far as Ali is concerned, cinema and politics are two different worlds that must not be mixed.
Ali was last year appointed as an Advisor (Electronic Media) to the AP government. Besides him, Posani Krishna Murali was appointed as the Chairman of the AP Film Development Corporation.
