The pre-release event of 'Hunt' was held on Sunday. The core team of the movie attended it. The film will head to the theatres on January 26.
Speaking on the occasion, Sudheer Babu began his speech by remembering Superstar Krishna. He revealed that, days before his death, Krishna was too weak to watch movies. "So, he was watching only a limited number of movies. He was watching the movies of only Mahesh Babu and me," the actor said with a glint of pride.
The 'Sridevi Soda Center' actor added, "Many people have watched 'Hunt' so far. And everyone is unanimous that the film is going to be a hit. It is true that I did daredevil stunts for the movie without dupes. But more than me, it is the producer who took a lot of risks. Even before the shoot was to begin, he spent crores of rupees." The 'Sammohanam' actor said that Srikanth, who played a key role in the movie, is someone with no enemies. "I am sure he is going to act with my kids and Mahesh's kids too," the 'V' star said.
Sudheer said that director Mahesh Surapaneni created an easy-breezy environment on set. "After this movie, he is surely going to make movies with bigger stars," he added.
Producer V Ananda Prasad of Bhavya Creations said, "Srikanth is close to me and this is my first collaboration with him. This is also my first movie with 'Premisthe' Bharath."
Srikanth, most recently seen in Vijay's 'Varisu', said, "I listened to the director's two-hour narration and came on board immediately. The producer and Sudheer Babu are the reason I have done this movie. Director Mahesh has got so much clarity. 'Hunt' is surely going to become a big hit. Sudheer has done both variations so well. The producer didn't compromise on quality. Bharath is a wonderful artist."
Bharath said, "I am excited about having been part of 'Hunt'. It feels great to be back in Tollywood. This one will stand out as Sudheer Babu's best movie. I have been busy playing lead roles in Tamil. Mahesh's conviction and narration made me want to make a re-entry into Telugu."
Director Mahesh said, "The teaser and trailer have already become popular with the audience. Sudheer Babu showed immense dedication to getting everything right. As per the story, his character has memory loss. What he does after he forgets his past would be interesting to watch." The director also praised Ghibran's background score and Arul Vincent's cinematography.
