Earlier today, during Nara Lokesh's Yuva Galam Yatra, Nandamuri Taraka Ratna fell unconscious. This left the crowds and organizers a tad worried. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.
It has been reported that the actor showed weak pulse for nearly an hour after he was brought to the hospital. CPR was performed, as per some reports. The doctors urgently attended to him upon which Angiogram was performed.
"We have put a stent in Taraka Ratna's heart," the doctors' team told the media. It was evident that Taraka Ratna had a mild heart stroke.
All throughout, Nandamuri Balakrishna was there by the patient's side.
A while ago, it was informed by official sources that Jr NTR and Kalyan Ram reached out to the 'Veera Simha Reddy' actor to inquire about his health.
By evening, the patient will be rushed to a city for further treatment.
Taraka Ratna has got plans to contest in next year's Assembly elections on a TDP ticket somewhere in Andhra Pradesh.
