'Lal Salaam', directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, today commenced its shoot. The film stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in leading roles. It went on the floors on Tuesday.
A powerhouse feature of the late-2023 release is that Superstar Rajinikanth will be seen in a special role in it. As per Chennai-based media reports, his role will be as long as 10-15 minutes in terms of running time.
The film is produced by Lyca Productions, which has recruited AR Rahman to compose the music.
Lyca Productions is also producing Rajinikanth's 170th movie, which will be directed by TJ Gnanavel of 'Jai Bhim' fame. Produced by Subaskaran, Thalaivar170 will have music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
Lyca Productions' magnum opus 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' will be released in theatres on April 28.
