Jayam Ravi's biggest claim to fame is 'Ponniyin Selvan'. He has now been roped in for a big-budget film produced by Vels Film International. The prominent Kollywood production house launched a film titled 'Genie' with Ravi as the hero.
Producer Dr. Ishari K Ganesh is working with some of the finest talents for this Arjunan JR directorial. Krithi Shetty, who was recently seen in 'Custody', is one of the female leads. Kalyani Priyadarshan of Akhil's 'Hello' fame and Wamiqa Gabbi are also part of the cast. Devayani is also on board.
AR Rahman will be composing the music. Mahesh Muthusamy (cinematography), Umesh J Kumar (art direction), and Pradeep E Raghav (editing) are also doing the project. The stunts are by Yannick Ben of 'Yashoda' and 'The Family Man' fame.
'Genie' will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
