Saptagiri, who shot to fame with 'Prema Katha Chitram' in 2013, has taken a political plunge. Speaking to the media on Monday, the actor said that it is true that TDP recently welcomed him to the party.
"I will divulge my plan of action in 10-15 days," Saptagiri, most recently seen in films like 'Unstoppable' and 'Meter', said. He suggested that he has the blessings of Nandamuri Balakrishna.
Saptagiri, who hails from Chittoor district, is keen to context on a TDP ticket from the district in the 2024 Assembly elections.
Known for receiving a Nandi Award in the Best Male Comedian category for the movie 'Express Raja', Saptagiri has headlined two films so far: 'Saptagiri Express' and 'Sapthagiri LLB'. "I have made a name for myself in the film industry through discipline and commitment. I will follow the same principles in politics as well," the artist today said.
