The trailer for 'Narayana & Co' is more coherent and hilarious than its teaser, released previously. Sudhakar Komakula and his onscreen father, Devi Prasad, have got equally important roles in this family comedy populated by charmingly innocent characters of the 'Amrutham' world variety.
A cat doll is smuggled into India from Dubai. Narayana (Devi Prasad) is a humble bank cashier who is prone to giving melodramatic sermons. His character is a throwback to that soapbox orator from last year's 'Happy Birthday'. His kind of monologue is a parody of over-sentimental, verbose lines in Telugu cinema.
As the trailer progresses, we are treated to the male lead and his brother's antics. Even Aamani, who plays the male lead's mother, doesn't shy away from excesses.
Writer-director Chinna Papisetty has cast Arati Podi as the hero's wife and Pooja Kiran as his sister. Yamini B, Jay Krishna, Saptagiri, Ali Reza, Shiva Ramachandrapu (in a negative role), Thotapalli Madhu, Ragini, and Ananth are part of the cast.
Bankrolled by Papisetty Film Productions and Sukha Media, the film is written by Raviteja Goli (story) and Rajiv Kosanam (dialogues).
