'Rudrangi' is the title of an upcoming action drama starring Ashish Gandhi in an action-driven role. The film features Jagapathi Babu as Bhim Rao Dora, who declares he is eligible to decide everything like a god. When his moralistic wife (played by Vimala Raman) tells him to watch his actions, he turns even more aggressive and malevolent in anticipation of a revolt in the village.
Set in a Telangana village named Rudrangi in a bygone era, the film has Mamta Mohandas as Jwalabhai. The trailer shows 'Kalakeya' Prabhakar' as a spiteful character who is a match to Bhim Rao Dora's manipulative and exploitative character.
Written and directed by Ajay Samrat, 'Rudrangi' is produced by Rasamayi Balakishan, an active politician. Ganavi Laxman, RS Nanda and Sadanandham have different parts.
With the cinematography handled by Santhosh Shanamoni, the film has music composed by Nawfal Raja. Editing is by Bonthala Nageshwar Reddy.
The film will hit the cinemas on July 7.
