'Richie Gadi Pelli' is set to be released in theatres on March 3. The film's pre-release event was held today. Starring Satya SK, Naveen Nene and Praneeta Patnaik in lead roles, the film is directed by KS Hemaraj.
Speaking on the occasion, director KS Hemaraj said that the pre-release screening for the media held today elicited an encouraging response from film critics and journos. "The shoot was done in Ooty. It's about a phone game played by a group of friends. The casting is heavy. Despite their busy schedules, the cast members adjusted their dates and made it convenient for our movie," the director said.
Actor Satya SK thanked the media for their support. "I don't have many friends in the film industry. Yet, when my first look was released, they called me up and appreciated me. The signs are very encouraging," he added.
Kishore Marishetty, who is playing an important role in the relationship comedy-drama, said, "We have screened the movie for the media two days before the theatrical release. Content-based movies have always been appreciated by the audience. I hope their blessings are with us this March 3."
Praveen Reddy, another artist from the movie, said, "I am happy to have shot for the movie in Ooty. The production house has been great to work with. I thank Hemaraj for casting me in such a nice role."
Praneeta Patnaik said, "We completed the shoot in a single schedule in Ooty. The director and producers were great to work with."
Produced by KS Film Works, the film also features Sateesh Shetty, Bunny Vox, Chandana Raj, Kiara Naidu and Master Rajesh Tamogna. The music is by Sathyan. Editing is by Arun EM. The story is by Rajendra Vaitla and Nagarju Maduri.
