Niharika Konidela debuted as an actress in 2016 with 'Oka Manasu'. The film flopped miserably. 'Happy Wedding' and 'Suryakantham', too, flopped. Since the pandemic, Nihairka's only claimed success has been as a producer. Her ZEE5 series 'Oka Chinna Family Story' has been described as a hit by the makers, although nobody knows the viewership numbers.
After going on a sabbatical on the acting front, the Mega Daughter is now back to acting. She is reportedly doing a Telugu remake of 'Dead Pixels', a well-known British sitcom. Produced by Tamada Media Ltd in association with BBC Studios, the sitcom also features YouTuber and comedian Harsha Chemudu, 'Rajahyogam' and 'Popcorn' actor Sai Ronak, Akshay Lagusani and Bhavana Sagi.
Helmed by Aditya Mandala, the series will be streamed on Disney Plus Hotstar later this year.
