'Grandhalayam' is the title of an upcoming action entertainer produced by Vaishnavi Sri Creations. The film will hit the cinemas on March 3. Its pre-release event was held today.
Speaking on the occasion, producer Bekkam Venugopal said that 'Grandhalayam' has been made by a dedicated young team. "I hope the maiden attempt by the producer becomes successful. The film's trailer, teaser and songs are so good. This March 3rd release must work with the audience," he added.
Producer Ayyappa Allam Neni said, "I thank the guests for being here. The content in our film is universally likable. I hope everyone watches our movie in theatres and makes it a big hit."
Director Sai Shivan Jampana said, "The story of this film was conceived on the basis of a night-time dream I had. I and hero Vinnu got to know each other during the making of 'Vyram'. It was a Telugu-Kannada bilingual. Vinnu liked the storyline and decided to act in the film. I thank Vaishnavi Sri Creations for believing in us. 'Grandhalaya' is a suspenseful film with commercial elements."
Hero Vinnu said, "When my film 'Sekharam Gaari Abbayi' was stalled due to some reasons, my younger sister came to my support. Knowing Sai Shivan inspired me to take up 'Grandhalayalm'. Despite challenges and struggles, we could tide over the crisis and successfully complete the movie."
Starring Vinnu Maddipati, Smrita Rani Borah and others, the film also features Kalakeya Prabhakar, Alok Jain, Jyothi Rana, Kasi Vishwanath, and Dr. Bhadram. Shot by cinematographer Samala Bhasker, the multi-genre outing with astrology-related elements has music by Vardhan. The BGM has been done by Chinna.
