'Pathaan' has comfortably trumped the hitherto unbeaten record of 'Baahubali 2'. The film's nett box office collections in Hindi (Indian territory collections) have exceeded the Rajamouli-Prabhas movie.
Congratulating Shah Rukh Khan, director Siddharth Anand and Yash Raj Films on Saturday, 'Baahubali' producer Shobu Yarlagadda commented that records are meant to be broken. "I am happy it was none other than SRK who has beaten the 'Baahubali 2' record," the producer added.
'Pathaan' and 'Baahubali 2' are now at No. 1 and No. 2 positions, respectively. At No. 3 and No. 4 are 'KGF 2' and 'Dangal'. It must be noted that the collections pertain only to the Hindi version in the Indian market, not overseas markets.
