After the recent 'Kalyanam Kamaneeyam' and 'Sridevi Sobhan Babu', Santosh Shoban is getting ready with the theatrical release of 'Anni Manchi Sakunamule'. The family entertainer will be released in theatres on May 18.
Its teaser has been described by the makers (read Swapna Cinema and Mithravinda Movies) as a cool Summer breeze. The setting is a hilly region. We see two families, one with the male lead and the other one with the female lead (Malvika Nair), bond in an everyday fashion.
Director Nandini Reddy of 'Ala Modalaindi' and 'Oh Baby' fame is in form. Rajendra Prasad and Sowkar Janaki, among the elders, are fun-loving. There is long-term debt, a family business, and love between the lead pair is just one of the elements.
Vennela Kishore, Rao Ramesh, VK Naresh, Vasuki, Ramya Subramanian, Ashwin Kumar and Anju Alva Naik are playing different roles.
Producer Priyanka Dutt has roped in Sunny Kurapati to crank the camera and Mickey J Meyer to compose music. Its dialogues and screenplay are by Lakshmi Bhupala and Dawood, respectively.
