Some south Indian movies become massively popular with the Hindi audience, especially on YouTube where they are available for streaming. Boyapati Sreenu made 'Jaya Janaki Nayaki' with Bellamkonda Sreenivas after the stupendous success of 'Legend'. The Tollywood movie has assumed a spectacular life of its own on YouTube.
Its Hindi-dubbed version, named 'Khoonkhar', has scripted a world record on YouTube by becoming the highest-viewed Hindi dubbed movie with more than 700 million views since its release in 2017. This is an unheard-of number in the world countries.
Produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy of Dwaraka Creations ('Akhanda' fame producer), 'JJN' has come to show the importance of action-heavy, mass masala movies in the Hindi belt.
Sreenivas awaits the theatrical release of 'Chatrapathi' on May 12. It is directed by VV Vinayak.
As for Boyapati, his film with Ram Pothineni will hit the marquee for Dasara on October 20.
