"The beautiful and scintillating melody 'Roju' from 'Ustaad' is here to steal your hearts with its captivating lyrics and soulful tunes," wrote Sony Music South, unveiling the latest melody in the town. The song is shot on Sri Simha Koduri and Kavya Kalyanram of 'Mathu Vadalara' and 'Masooda', respectively.
'Roju', shot in everyday locations, begins with a lilting monologue by the male lead. Soon enough, Ananth Sriram's soothing lyrics take over. Singer Anurag Kulkarni of 'Ramuloo Ramulaa' fame gives the song a high-pitched, jaunty flavour. Akeeva B's calibrated composition is inspired.
Scripted and directed by Phanideep, the project has Pavan Kumar Pappula cranking the camera, while the Production Design is by Pravalya D. Costumes are by Akhila Dasari.
The film also features Gautham Vasudev Menon (recently seen in 'Vidudhala'), Anu Hasan, Ravindra Vijay, Venkatesh Maha (recently seen in the web anthology 'Anger Tales'), Ravi Siva Teja, and Sai Kiran Yedida.
