TV serial actor Sagar is popular among women, thanks to his association with a few well-known programs. He is known for doing the runaway blockbuster TV serial 'Mogali Rekulu'.
The news is that Sagar was today inducted into the Jana Sena Party in the presence of the Party chief Pawan Kalyan. He might secure a ticket to contest as MLA from Ramagundam, which is his hometown.
Sagar's tryst with cinema has been unsuccessful. "Doing TV serials has brought me stardom on TV. I have begun a new journey in the film industry. We take up a new journey when we are confident. My character RK Naidu created a lot of impact. It inspired many and I became a familiar face in every household because of that character. In films, I can't choose a character that degrades RK Naidu," he said before the release of his film 'Shaadi Mubarak' in 2021. Despite Dil Raju's backing, the film didn't do well at the box office.
