Vichithra, who was a sought-after Tamil-Malayalam actress in the 1990s, is currently participating in Bigg Boss Tamil. In the latest episode, she shared her ordeal from her film days. The former actress revealed that, in the year 2001, she was doing a film featuring a senior actor (whom she didn't name).
"The shoot was happening somewhere in Kerala. The unit was lodged in a hotel. The film's hero approached me, didn't even ask my name, and asked me to come over to his hotel room. I was shocked. I went straight to my room, where I kept on receiving calls (from him). I turned down the sexual advances. In the same schedule, the stunt master happened to slap me. I lodged a complaint with the Nadigar Sangam but no action was forthcoming," Vichithra said.
She added that she quit the industry after the episode. The actress incidentally married the manager of the hotel where she was put up.
Netizens are drawing conclusions about the incident by matching the year she mentioned with a film that was released that year in theatre. It was a Telugu film and the hero is a big star, as per social media users. After Vichithra comes out of the Bigg Boss house, expect her to be asked to name the actor. Will she? Or, won't she?
