Kiran Abbavaram's 'Rules Ranjann' is going to hit the cinemas on September 28. The release date was announced today by presenter AM Ratnam.
Speaking at the event, the 'Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha' actor said, "This journey was started more than a year ago. While listening to the script, I was in splits for two hours. Manoranjan is my name in the movie. He is much like us. We all have been like him at one stage of life or another. All the songs released so far have clicked with the audience. The upcoming songs, too, are going to hit the bull's eye. I thank presenter AM Ratnam sir, whose movies I grew up watching. Pawan Kalyan's 'Kushi' is my favourite film. A poster of that movie used to hang in my room.
Neha Shetty of 'DJ Tillu' fame said, "The song 'Sammohanuda' from this movie has been such a huge hit. It has so far clocked 23 million views. I thank Shreya Ghoshal, the playback singer, and music director Amrish. This is my first commercial song. The best part of Team 'Rules Ranjann' is that they are always supportive and so communicative. All decisions are taken consensually. That doesn't happen every time. We are very excited about the upcoming promotions. Kiran is a lovely co-star."
Director AM Jyothi Krishna said that his previous film 'Oxygen' mixed entertainment and message. "I realized that I have to predominantly make an entertainer. That's why I made 'Rules Ranjann' as a fun-oriented movie. Kiran has done five films in the past one year. He shot for this movie despite his busy schedule. Producers Divyang Lavania and Murali Krishnaa Vemuri are my friends. They have spent unlimited money on this. These days hilarious movies are being liked by the audience in a big way," he added.
Presenter AM Ratnam said, "I didn't know about this project till a day before the launch date. I knew that songs were going to be paramount for this movie. There is a dearth of music directors in the Telugu film industry. Amrish will make it after 'Rules Ranjann'. This is a thorough entertainer that never bores you. This is a family entertainer."
