'Tantiram', starring Srikanth Gurram and Priyanka Sharma, is produced by Cinema Bandi Productions. The film's trailer was released recently.
The news is that the horror-thriller, touted to be a novel cinema experience, will hit the cinemas on September 22. "This is a must-watch movie in theatres," said writer-director Muthyala Meher Deepak.
In the film's trailer, we see that the story is set in a fireworks factory in the year 1975. A male ghost seeks vengeance against the factory owner in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu. A few bedroom moments and intimate scenes can be expected. The right spooky mood seems to have been maintained, thanks to the background score and the special effects.
A dark spirit interferes with the marital life of a newlywed couple. The consequences thereafter are what the film is about. Shot in Kerala, the film also features Avinash Yelandur. With the story written by Shabaz MS and Wineeth Ponnuru, the film has been shot and edited by Vamsi Srinivas Sirugudi. Ajay Arasada has taken care of the music.
