The Tamil film 'Theri' (2016) has been remade in Telugu as 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' by Pawan Kalyan. Director Harish Shankar has made a lot of changes to the original. 'Theri', which starred Thalapathy Vijay, is now all set to have a Hindi remake. 'Jawan' maker Atlee, who directed the original, is going to be the presenter of the Hindi remake.
The Bollywood remake of 'Theri' will be led by Varun Dhawan. Keerthy Suresh, who was recently seen in the Telugu film 'Dasara', is its heroine. Wamiqa Gabbi will play the other female lead in it.
The remake will head to the theatres on May 31, 2024.
The Hindi-dubbed version of 'Theri' is popular on YouTube. Atlee and Co. have reportedly made many changes so that the remake looks like an adaptation.
