Sivakarthikeyan's pan-India movie 'Ayalaan' has got a new release date. The film will hit the cinemas for Sankranthi 2024 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. Director R Ravikumar is wielding the megaphone for this CGI-heavy and visually delicious thriller made of more than 4,500 Live-Action VFX shots.
Talking about the enormous scale of the movie, producer Kotapadi J Rajesh of KJR Studios stated that the makers have faced a number of obstacles but nothing has deterred their determination. "Our movie has got the highest number of VFX shots for a pan-Indian event movie," he added.
This is the first time that a southern movie has an alien at the centre of the plot. The Tamil word 'Ayalaan' means 'Stranger' in English. The Telugu title could be different since the title doesn't sound language-neutral.
Co-starring Tamil actors like Karunakaran and Yogi Babu, the film has yesteryear actress Bhanupriya and Bollywood's Isha Koppikar-Sharad Kelkar duo in key roles. AR Rahman is composing the music.
