'Pushpa 2' is slated to hit the cinemas on August 15. Its Teaser was put out by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings the other day.
As per the buzz in the town, the renowned and richest music label T-Series has bagged the audio rights to the Allu Arjun-starrer for six languages. And the detail apparently was worth Rs 60 Cr.
If true, credit for the mega-valued audio rights must be equally shared by Devi Sri Prasad and the brand value of the Pushpa duology. DSP's music for the first part was extraordinary. The Hindi audience loved them more than the Telugu audience.
In 'Pushpa 2', the songs will have to be equally good, if not more. Otherwise, 'the Rs 60-Cr pressure' exerted on the composer will bear no fruit. His brand value will be affected in the Hindi market.
'Pushpa 2', directed by Sukumar, stars Fahadh Faasil as the antagonist. Recently, the actor said that his character will be interesting in the actioner.
