Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna was today in Kadiri, Sri Sathya Sai District, Andhra Pradesh. The visit was meant to campaign for the TDP ahead of the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
Upon disembarking from the helicopter and preparing to exit the venue, a fan approached him, seeking a selfie. This incited the 'Veera Simha Reddy' actor, who became infuriated and struck the supporter. Surrounding onlookers rallied together and forcibly escorted the distressed fan away.
This is not the first time that such an incident has happened. Balayya has slapped/thrashes a handful of fans on different occasions previously.
The actor, on the film front, is currently doing a film with writer-director Bobby Kolli. Produced by Sithara Entertainments, it could be a pan-Indian release. If there is a simultaneous Telugu, Hindi and Tamil release, it will keep Balayya's fans excited.
