Recently, Pawan Kalyan pooh-poohed the glorification of smugglers in contemporary movies. The Deputy CM of AP was indirectly hitting out at Pushpa Raj from 'Pushpa 2'.
On Friday, at a film event, producer Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers said that Pawan was not taking a swipe at 'Pushpa 2'. He disagreed with those who have established a link between Pawan's remarks and Sukumar's fictional character.
"His (Pawan Kalyan's) stature is different. People are needlessly linking his remarks to our film. It is totally out of context. Once 'Pushpa 2' hits the cinemas on December 6, everything will fade out. We are all one," Ravi Shankar said, brushing aside the anti-'Pushpa 2' remarks recently made by a Jana Sena MLA.
The producer confirmed that 'Pushpa 2' is a cent percent December 6th release. By November 20, release formalities in terms of despatches to exhibitors will commence.
