'Nanda Nandanaa' is the title of the first song from 'Family Star'. Its promo has been shared by Vijay Deverakonda on social media. The Gopi Sundar composition has been rendered by Sid Sriram.
Going by the promo, a portion of the tune has been lifted from the song 'Konte Chooputho' from 'Ananthapuram 1980'. Netizens point out that the tune doesn't sound original in any way.
We have to wait for the full song to come out on February 7 before we can make any inferences. "I imitate a song mainly because of certain situations. When a director or a producer insists you lift a song, you cannot help it. But that doesn't mean I do it all the time," Gopi Sundar told ToI in an interview in 2017. He has been accused of being a copycat in the past in Mollywood.
