Sandeep Reddy Vanga has made fresh comments in defence of 'Animal'. In doing so, he has both directly and indirectly hit out at certain Bollywoodians.
In his latest interview, he criticized veteran screenwriter Javed Akhtar. "Akthar's son Farhan Akhtar produced a web series. All sorts of cuss words from around the world are there in the series. If you watch the series' Telugu version, you will find it nauseating. He should lecture his son instead of criticizing 'Animal'," the 'Arjun Reddy' director said.
In a recent interview, the ex-wife of Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, said that she never criticized 'Animal' because she hadn't even watched the movie. This came in response to Vanga saying that Kiran Rao must first question her ex-husband, Aamir Khan, for doing problematic scenes in his 1990s movies. Today, the official social media pages of 'Animal' shot back at Kiran Rao, saying that she did accuse 'Animal' directly.
As long as Vanga keeps giving interviews, he will stoke controversies because interviewers enjoy making him defensive. Hope he moves on to 'Animal Park' or 'Spirit', for God's sake!
