'BhamaKalapam 2' started streaming on Aha Video on February 16. Within a short period of time, the web release has clocked a whopping 100 million streaming minutes on the back of one million people watching it. "The Most Dangerous Housewife Hits it out of the Park! An outstanding century from the dangerous housewife," the platform wrote on social media.
It's learned that the Priyamani-starrer has essentially been boosted by the family audience. Co-starring Saranya Pradeep in a key role, the film's narrative structure and thrills have impressed the audience. Besides, Priyamani's performance has been liked by them.
Directed by Abhimanyu Tadimeti, the film is about a wealthy hotelier who disrupts Anupama's (Priyamani) life. "In retaliation, she puts together an imperfectly perfect team to pull off an elaborate heist at his luxurious hotel during a culinary competition," IMDb says. The sequel to 'BhamaKalapam' has been described by critics as "more fun outing in which crime, comedy and cooking are cleverly interlinked."
