Mahesh Babu has made an interesting remark about his dances in 'Guntur Kaaram'. In an interview hosted by Suma Kanakala, the superstar said that he felt that the Trivikram directorial might be his last film where he will get to do "regular commercial songs". That thought made him want to give his best shot.
Mahesh suggested that he knew that two songs in 'Guntur Kaaram' would be dance-heavy. And since a skilled dancer like Sree Leela was his co-star, he was more than ready to go out of his way. He and Trivikram made Sekhar VJ, the dance choreographer, compose the best dance moves.
The actor knows that his movie with SS Rajamouli won't have regular songs. It's an international project where there might be no dance numbers at all. After this project, Mahesh's image will transform. People won't expect him in regular songs when he does pan-Indian movies. 'Guntur Kaaram' is truly his last conventional commercial film with dance numbers.
