A new multiplex, owned by the Asian Group, is coming up in Hyderabad. Named Asian Vaishnavi, it is a 5-screen plex on the RC Puram-Patancheru Highway.
Reports say that the plex will be inaugurated on January 21 at the hands of 'HanuMan' director Prasanth Varma and actor Teja Sajja. Producer K Niranjan Reddy, actress Amritha Aiyer will also be present.
Mythri Movie Makers' Y Ravi Shankar, Naveen Yerneni and Mythri distributor Shashi will also be there. D Suresh Babu, the senior producer and distributor-cum-exhibitor, who has partnered with the Asian Group for years, will be present as a guest.
Earlier this month, a 6-screen Mythri Multiplex in Guntur and a 4-screen SVC Cinemas in Eluru made their debut on January 12 in Andhra Pradesh. With big players like Dil Raju's SVC Cinemas, Suniel Narang's Asian Cinemas and Mythri Movie Makers expanding their footprint in the exhibition sector, new screens have been set up in different towns in the Telugu States.
