As per a police complaint lodged by a woman named Lavanya, actor Raj Tarun now faces an FIR. The Narsingi police have named him as Accused No. 1 in the FIR. His 'Tiragabadara Saami' co-star Malvi Malhotra and her brother Mayank have been named as A2 and A3, respectively. They face complaints under IPC Sections 420, 493 and 506.
As per Lavanya, Raj Tarun married her in the year 2014 and impregnated her in 2017. He pressurized her into resorting to abortion, she alleged.
Lavanya also claimed that she and her family have given Rs 70 lakh to Raj Tarun on different occasions. She and Raj Tarun have had to vacate six different rented places, she alleged, ostensibly owing to his passion for pets. The actor takes care of fifteen pets.
Lavanya is taking the help of the famous lawyer, Dileep Sunkara, to fight her case.
