Bollywood moviegoers are in for a treat this Independence Day! Three anticipated films, 'Stree 2', 'Vedaa', and 'Khel Khel Mein', are all set to release on August 15.
'Stree 2': The comedy horror film directed by Amar Kaushik stars Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao as the lead pair. Maddock Films and Jio Studios are bringing out the film.
'Vedaa': Starring John Abraham in the lead, "depicts the bravery of one person challenging a draconian system in an uprising". Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the action comedy is produced by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment and JA Entertainment.
'Khel Khel Mein': Starring Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal, and Fardeen Khan, the film is produced by T-Series.
However, film fans will notice a gap in releases on the following two weekends, with no films currently scheduled for release on August 23 or 30.
