Reality is slowly dawning on Krishna Vamsi. He realizes that he can't dream about collaborating with big stars anymore.
The other day, a social media user asked him when he would be reuniting with Mahesh Babu, his 'Murari' actor. Replying to him, the filmmaker said that Mahesh is an international star now and therefore, it would be difficult for him to think of directing him at this stage. 'Murari' is up for a theatrical re-release soon.
In 2021, Krishna Vamsi used to talk about mounting his dream project, 'Annam', on a massive scale with a superstar at the helm. At that time, it was rumoured that Chiranjeevi was under consideration for the social message movie. AR Rahman was reported to be the music director. The project didn't take off.
There is a section of 80s kids who want Krishna Vamsi to do films with superstars, again. But the reality is that it won't happen. He hasn't had a big-ticket hit for two decades now. His films like 'Nakshatram' were unbearable. 'Ranga Marthanda' was supposed to be his comeback film but it flopped. Moreover, it was a remake, putting a question mark on his form.
