Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi was today in Hyderabad to promote his upcoming theatrical release, 'Maharaja', which is hitting the cinemas on June 14. Speaking on the occasion, he was asked about his take on Pawan Kalyan's victory in elections recently. The 'Uppena' and 'Vikram' actor lauded the Jana Sena Party chief for his consistency and mental strength.
"I don't know him personally. I heard that he was subjected to severe online trolling during his electioneering. I respect his hard work, commitment, and consistency. He is not a hero is somebody’s story. He is a hero in his own story. It takes a lot of mental stamina to withstand trolling, mocking, and ridiculing memes," Vijay said.
As for 'Maharaja', the action thriller stars Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, Bharathiraja and others. It is directed by Nithilan Saminathan. Vijay's movies as a solo hero have never done well in Telugu.
