Deepika Padukone has been reigning supreme among female superstars in the country. As per the latest report brought out by Forbes, the 'Pathaan' beauty is the highest-paid actress in India for the year 2024.
She gets paid something like Rs 20 to 30 Cr per film, the report says. Her paycheck depends on the number of working days.
'Kalki 2898 AD' is her next theatrical release. The Prabhas-starrer will head to theatres on June 27. On Wednesday, Deepika, who is currently pregnant, participated in the film's pre-release event in Mumbai. The event was also attended by her co-star Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan. On the occasion, Deepika quipped that her bump was the result of eating the homemade, sumptuous dishes supplied by the 'Salaar' actor during the making of the futuristic sci-fi epic drama.
