'Kota Factory Season 3' has started streaming on Netflix. The Hindi-language original has a fan base among viewers, especially in northern India. Set in the backdrop of the gruelling IIT coaching ecosystem, the series has received mixed reviews.
"Several dramatic crescendos find their way into the plot. These aid in spicing up the show as it hurtles towards its finale - the all-important IIT-JEE Advanced Examination," wrote NDTV in its 3-star review. Money Control's review says that the show's monologues are a highlight.
Times Now finds it hard to appreciate the black-and-white palette, likening it to a "workshop-like atmosphere of the coaching town". The review adds, "The show becomes too obvious with its metaphors, especially regarding mental health and personal choices."
"As the final countdown to the exam approaches, some twists will definitely shake you," wrote ToI in its positive review.
